It is therefore essential to choose leaders who prioritize the interests of journalists across the nation and uphold the values of integrity and accountability.

All members of the NUJ are encouraged to engage in the electoral process, scrutinize the candidates’ platforms, and actively participate in discussions.

By doing so, they can ensure that their voices are heard and that the NUJ can champion the rights and welfare of journalists across Nigeria.

In this critical time for our nation, there is need to exercise our democratic rights and vote for candidates who will uphold the ideals of journalism, foster collaboration, and enhance the credibility of our profession.

The future of journalism in Nigeria depends on the choices we make today.
