The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Abia State, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, has called on the people of Isiala Ngwa North LGA to support the Zenith Labour Party candidates in the forthcoming Local Government Area elections.
Pastor Ajagba, who made the call during an enlarged town hall meeting held at the country home of the ZLP chairmanship candidate for Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area, Ambassador Innocent Uruakpa, in Umuoha, noted that the candidates have been carefully selected by Ndi Isiala Ngwa North based on their outstanding pedigree to manage the affairs of the council.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor disclosed that Governor Alex Otti is passionate and fully committed to driving economic development across all facets of the state economy and expressed optimism that the candidates will complement the governor’s efforts in driving massive infrastructural development in the rural areas once elected.
In his speech, the member representing Isiala Ngwa North and Isiala Ngwa South Federal Constituency, Chief Ginger Onwusibe, stated that the forthcoming Local Government Area elections would usher in a new dawn in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area based on the array of credible candidates the Zenith Labour Party presents.
Hon. Chief Onwusibe urged the people of Isiala Ngwa North to continue supporting the present administration in the state and to come out en masse to support the candidates for victory in Saturday’s Local Government Area elections.
Earlier, in his welcome address, the chairman of the town hall meeting and immediate past Executive Chairman of Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Elder Chinwendu Ochiulor, stated that the purpose of the town hall meeting was to present the Local Government Area candidates to the people and urged everyone to support them.
Responding on behalf of the candidates, the Zenith Labour Party chairmanship candidate for Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area, Ambassador Innocent Uruakpa, thanked Governor Alex Otti, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, Member representing Isiala Ngwa North and Isiala Ngwa South Federal Constituency, Chief Ginger Onwusibe, party stakeholders, and the people of Isiala Ngwa North LGA for the overwhelming support and solidarity shown towards their aspirations. He promised that they would not betray the confidence placed in them once elected.
