The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Abia State, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, has charged the matriculating and graduating students of WAGGOM Theological Seminary (WATHS) Aba to remain good ambassadors of the institute wherever they find themselves.

Pastor Ajagba, who gave the charge at the WAGGOM International Conference Centre, 13-15 WAGGOM Avenue, off Agalaba Road, Osisioma Aba, during the 33rd Matriculation and 32nd Convocation of WATHS, urged the graduands to embrace the journey ahead with courage, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to their values.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor lauded his friend and founder of the institute for remaining focused and committed to raising global champions, which is in line with the vision of Governor Alex Otti to transform lives positively.
Declaring the 33rd Matriculation and 32nd Convocation open, the Chancellor and President of WAGGOM International, Venerable Dr. Udo Obioma, while congratulating the graduands on the successful completion of their various programs, disclosed that the institution has, over the past 32 years, continued to tailor its programs and activities to meet contemporary demands in advanced theological education.
Venerable Dr. Obioma commended Governor Alex Otti for his infrastructural strides across the state and for appointing a God-fearing man and seasoned administrator, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, as his Chief of Staff.
In her welcome address, the Provost of WAGGOM Theological Seminary Aba, Dr. Mrs. Glory Udo-Obioma, explained that the 33rd Matriculation and 32nd Convocation Ceremony of the institute marks a significant milestone in the lives of the students as it is a moment of celebration, adding that their experiences have equipped them with not just knowledge, but also the ability to adapt and innovate in a rapidly changing world.
Also speaking, the Registrar of the institute, Rev. Magrow Nwachukwu, and the Academic Dean, Venerable Sunny Umesi, appreciated God for His mercies and grace upon the institute over the past 32 years and thanked the management and staff of the institute, parents, the graduating and matriculating classes, and sponsors for their unwavering commitment and sustained support in ensuring that the theological institute continues to fulfill its core mandate of preparing and developing its students and staff intellectually, occupationally, aesthetically, physically, and spiritually.
In his valedictory speech, the SUG President of WAGGOM, Mr. Emeka Rufus, stated that the graduation marks the beginning of their journey to greatness and thanked the Chancellor, Provost, management and staff of WAGGOM Theological Seminary Aba, the graduating class, their parents, and sponsors for molding, rebranding, refining, and preparing them for greatness.
In a vote of thanks, the Chairman of the WAGGOM 2024 Planning Committee, Pastor Onuoha Felix, described the theological institute as one of the leading institutions solely focused on advancing knowledge, anchored on the values of excellence, service, and faith.
