The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Engr. lkechukwu Emetu says the Aba lnternational Trade Fair 2024 will be more than just commerce, as arrangements are in top gear to organize a rich symposium to discuss the restoration of Aba as a historic land of opportunity.

Engr. Emetu who stated this during a Press Conference at the Government House, Umuahia noted that as a government that understand the importance of the Trade Fair to the Aba business community and the economy of the state, adequate steps have been taken to cut down the possibility of failure.

The Deputy Governor further stated that the state government and ACCIMA are putting in place strategic initiatives to make the event the first of its kind in terms of participation, volume of transactions and interests from various business groups.

Chief Emetu thanked the Planning Committee headed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Trade, Commerce and Industry, Chief Nwaka Inem and other members of the committee including the leadership of ACCIMA as well as Senior officials of the State Government for their hard work and dedication through series of planning, among others.
