The Judiciary Women Association (JUWA) has visited the Agape Charity Home, Ubakala in Umuahia South Local government Area and donated gift items to children in the Home.
Addressing the Children and their Care Givers while donating the items, the Chairperson, Judiciary Women Association, High Court, Umuahia, Mrs. Olileanya Onwusoro said the visit and donations was to celebrate with the children especially now the yuletide is fast approaching and called on well to do Abians to make it a point of duty to reach out to the indigents in Society.
Mrs. Onwusoro disclosed that funds used in procuring the food items was raised through freewill donations from members of the Association and prayed God to continue to care for the children and reward the donors.
In their remarks, the Chairman, Staff Welfare Association, High Court Umuahia, Mrs Sussan Herbert and a Court Administrator and Minister of God, Pastor Glory Nwogu appreciated the Care Givers for choosing such a tasking carrier and advised the children to remain obedient, pray and always read their Bible, expressing optimism that they will grow up to become great leaders of tomorrow.
Responding on behalf of Agape Charity Home Ubakala, Miss Josephine Okonkwo appreciated the Judiciary Women Association for identifying with them especially with the prevailing economic hardship in the Country and prayed God to replenish their purse.
Highlights of the visit was a special prayer for the Children, their Care givers, and state at large while items donated include Cartons of Indomie, Cartons of Biscuits, Beverages Detergents, Toiletries, and Cash.
