All is now set for the 2024 Aba International Trade Fair holding today 28th November.
Speaking when he paid an on the spot assessment of Aba Mega Mall, venue of the event, the Deputy Governor, Chief Ikechukwu Emetu expressed satisfaction on the level of commitment shown by the Organizing Committee and the readiness on ground noted that the conducive environment already created will guarantee effective participation of both industrialists and local farmers.
According to Chief Emetu, adequate awareness has been created including the social media, traditional media, door to door sensitization by the State Orientation Agency and the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs to ensure that individuals at the urban and rural areas turn out to showcase their agricultural identities that will expose them to the world stressing that a lot of companies have shown support.
The Deputy Governor while commending Aba residents for their readiness to host the ten days event described them as industrious and hardworking people assuring that, the Governor Alex Otti administration is not relenting in providing roads and security for ease of doing business in the state.
Speaking while conducting the Deputy Governor and his entourage round the facility, the Chairman of the Aba International Trade Fair Joint Planning Committee, Chief Nwaka Inem, said the booths are now fully ready for the companies that have already subscribed, noting that the committee has also made provisions for others that have indicated interest to participate in the fair.
He said many companies have arrived while their stands are currently being decorated and branded and appreciated the State Government and other partners for showing interest
Our Aba Zonal Correspondent, Chinyere Francis-Anyaogu reports that the ACCIMA President, Chief Geoffrey Uzoagbara, the S.A to the Governor on Public Communication, Mr Dodo Okafor and the State Director on Digital Economy, Mrs Chinyere Nwosu among others were on ground to receive the Deputy Governor.
