The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, has approved the sum of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira ( ₦150,000) to each of the five hundred and forty-four Abia Traditional Rulers as Christmas Bonus.
A release signed by the Abia State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Uzor Nwachukwu, says Governor Otti equally used the opportunity to enjoin Abia Traditional Rulers to continue to partner the Government in order to engender development, peace, security of lives and property within their various communities.
The release adds that the payment will be made on or before the 10th of next month.
