Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti has condoled Dr. Mrs. Odochi Azubuike, the Chief Executive of the Health Management Board over the death of her husband and former Legislator, Chief Humphrey Azubuike who died at the age of 60 years.

In his condolence message, Governor Otti who attended the event in company of his Wife, Mrs Priscilla Otti expressed shock over the news of the death of Chief Azubuike, an indigene of Ihie-Obeaku in Ugwunagbo Local Government Area who represented Ugwunagbo State Constituency, Abia House of Assembly and described him as a brother and friend.

Governor Otti said although, words may not be adequate to console the bereaved family, enjoined them to take solace in the fact that their late father lived a life of impact and honour.

Correspondent reports that the Senator Representing Abia South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Chief Enyinnaya Abaribe, the Speaker, Abia State House of Assembly, Chief Emmanuel Emeruwa, other serving and former Federal and State Lawmakers, Commissioners, serving and former Mayors were among personalities who attended the burial.

Late Chief Humphrey Azubuike represented Ugwunagbor State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly from 2003 to 2015 and was the MD/CEO of Duff Petroleum.
