It was a display of Royalty at IPU South Autonomous Community, Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State as people of the community, friends and Well Wishers gathered for the fourteenth Coronation Anniversary on the throne of their Traditional Ruler, Eze Godwin Ukanna.

Speaking during the ceremony held at the Community Primary School Okohia Asa, the Mayor of Ukwa West Local Government Area, Pastor Dike Nwankwo commended Eze Ukanna for being a peace ambassador in the community and urged the people to continue to support the new Abia project ushered in by Governor Alex Otti.

Also speaking, the Chairman, Ukwa East and West Traditional Rulers Council, Eze Expensive Nwagbara, Eze Ndigbo na Obigbo, Eze Sunny Williams, Eze Callistus Dimgba of IPU East and Eze Evans Okore of Umuiku Isi-Asa all thanked God for what he is doing in the life of Eze Ukanna and wished him long life on the throne.

In their remarks, the Palace Secretary, Ipu South Autonomous Community, Chief Christian Ugboaja and the Chairman, Ipu South Council of Chiefs, Chief Chukwuka Okeke, described Eze Ukanna as an easy going gentleman and pledged their continued support for him.

Contributing, some awardees including, Dr. Victoria Ogbuji and Mr. Joe Osuji thanked Eze Ukanna for the honour done them and promised to be good Ambassadors of the community.

Expressing his gratitude, the celebrant, Eze Godwin Ukanna alongside his wife, Ugoeze Francisca Ukanna, thanked God for his goodness upon them in the last fourteen years on the throne and promised to ensure peace, unity and progress of Ipu South Autonomous Community.

The ceremony featured cultural displays and award of Chieftaincy titles on deserving Nigerians.
