The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, says his administration will soon perform foundation laying for Abia’ Medical City.
Dr. Otti, who disclosed this in his New Year broadcast to Abians said the project will put to an end, foreign medical trip and make Abia a destination for medical tourism.
The Governor highlighted the successes his administration has recorded in road infrastructure across the state, especially building and awarding contracts to those roads and bridges that have, over the years, been political tools for those contesting elections.
He assured that his administration will consolidate on the successes recorded this year, pointing out that the commitment of his administration to public infrastructure remains unshakable.
The State Chief Executive whose message was titled ‘’New Year, New Opportunities,’’ maintained that nothing would distract him from the cause of rebuilding the State in line with the aspirations of the people.
Governor Otti maintained that the New Year holds important promise of surmounting different obstacles and making Abia, a destination for all.
He therefore, urged all to support his administration through prompt payment of taxes and other levies.
