Public and Private Schools in Abia state will resume for the Second term 2024/2025 Academic session on the 13th of this month.
A release signed by the state Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Elder Goodluck Ubochi, says the Mid-Term Break will start from 27th of next month to 2nd of March this year.
According to the release, the Closing Date for the Second Term is 4th April, while the holiday period is between 5th April and 27th April this year.
The release frowns seriously at some Private Schools that defy the official resumption date to resume earlier.
It enjoins all Public and Private Primary, Secondary and Technical Schools in the State to take note of the resumption date and comply accordingly.
