The Wife of the Governor of Abia State, Mrs. Priscilla Otti has extolled the Director and Care Givers of Susana Children Home Umuahala, Obuzor Asa in Ukwa West Local Government Area for their selfless humanitarian services to the residents of the facility.
Mrs. Otti who made the commendation at the Sussana Children Home Umuahala Obuzor Asa in Ukwa West Local Government Area during her Charity Outreach to the home, prayed God to strengthen them.
She said the present administration is committed to prioritizing the affairs of the vulnerable children in the state, especially the Orphanage Homes and promised that government will continue to support the Homes.
Speaking, the Mayor, Ukwa West Local Government Area, Pastor Dike Nwankwo thanked the wife of the Governor, Mrs. Priscilla Otti for all the positive activities she has been rendering to Abians and prayed God to bless her.
In her speech, the Director of Susana Children Home, Dr. Chinyere Hendricks appreciated the Wife of the Governor, Mrs. Otti for coming to identify with them and prayed God to bless the present administration for prioritizing the welfare of the orphanage homes in the state.
Earlier in her welcome address, one of the inmate, Miss Janine Hendricks appreciated Governor Otti and his wife for their magnanimity and humanitarian activities for the vulnerable groups, even before coming to power, prayed God to grant them more wisdom in their governance.
Our Correspondent, reports that the event which featured welcome songs by the inmates of the home, presentation of bags of rice, food items, cash donation of #500,000 by the Wife of the Governor, attracted the presence of other government functionaries.
