A prominent Traditional Ruler in the State and Chairman, Ngwa Royal Supreme Council, Eze Paul Okpanku says he is satisfied with the feat already achieved by the Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti in human and infrastructural development.

Eze Okpanku who made his feelings known while briefing news men in his Ezeudo Palace in Mbutu, Isiala Ngwa South LGA, noted that with the allocation of 5% of the State Allocation for Traditional Rulers in the State as well as the construction of the Umuehim-Okpakiri road and Nkwokpu Road in Isiala Ngwa South LGA, the Governor has written his name in gold and called for the sustenance of his laudable projects.
Eze Okpanku who is the Traditional Ruler of Mbutu Amairinisi Ancient Kingdom in Isiala Ngwa South LGA, noted that with the security architecture of the State as well as releasing of Christmas packages for all Traditional Rulers in the State during the last yuletide, he has given them a sense of belonging and pledged to do their best to protect his interest in their various communities.
The two-time Chairman of Isiala Ngwa South Council of Traditional Rulers called on the Governor to continue to make hospitality, magnanimity and the people’s welfare his watchword and assured him of God’s protection and wisdom as he pilot the affairs of the State.
He called on the people to sustain their support and prayers for the present administration and expressed optimism that Abia will be a reference point in the country with the sustenance of development in the State and wished Abians well in the new year.
The Chairman, Abia State Council of Village Heads, Chief Kingsley Egwuatu was present during the briefing.
