The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Abia State, Pastor Caleb Ajagba has restated the state government’s commitment in restoring sanity in the education sector.

Pastor Ajagba who stated this in Government House Umuahia when he received a delegation from Okwoko Nkporo led by Eze Arunsi Uka, described education as key to the development of any society.

The Chief of Staff to the Governor while describing Governor Alex Otti as one that has continued to make excellence the hallmark of his administration, commended the traditional ruler of Agbo-Oha Community and the leaders of Okwoko Nkporo for their efforts in driving home the policies and programs of the present administration down the Grassroot.

He maintained that the time has come for people to begin to appreciate government efforts in shaping the destinies of the younger generation and providing a conducive environment for teaching and learning to continue to thrive more effectively also assured them of government’s commitment towards recovering all government school lands that has been encroached by individuals.

In his speech, the leader of the delegation and traditional ruler of Agbo-Oha Community, Nkwoko Nkporo in Ohafia LGA, Eze Arunsi Uka commended Governor Alex Otti for his giant strides across the state especially in the education sector and pledged their commitment in driving home the policies and programs of the present administration to the grassroot.

Eze Uka also appealed to the state government to urgently look into the activities of some individuals who have encroached into government school lands among other pressing needs of the community.
