A cross section of Isiala Ngwa North indigenes have commended Governor Alex Otti for choosing to cite the Abia Airport project in Nsulu Land.

In an interview with our Correspondent shortly after an enlarged meeting between Government and Land Owners of the proposed Abia Airport Project and signing of the Communique, held at Banquet Hall, Government House Umuahia, the Member representing Isiala Ngwa North and Isiala Ngwa South Federal Constituency, Chief Ginger Onwusibe and the Member representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency, Chief Collins Iheonunekwu, lauded Governor Otti for his massive developmental strides across the stayte and for upgrading the Airstrip to an Airport.
The Lawmakers enjoined Isiala Ngwa North indigenes especially Nsulu people to support Government in actualizing the proposed Abia Airport, adding that the Project which has multiplier effects is capable of turning around their fortunes for good as well as boost economic activities in the area.
Also speaking, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, the Commissioner for Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Mr Matthew Ekwuruibe, the Mayor of Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Ambassador Innocent Uruakpa, Chief Nnanna Nwoha and Chief Uzo Azubuike described Governor Alex Otti as a responsive and focused leader who is committed and passionate in driving development across all facets of the State economy.
They further disclosed of their readiness to work together to address concerns that may arise in future in the course of execution of the Project and called on all to remain supportive to the Governor Otti led administration in the State.
