The Mayor of Ugwunagbo Local Government Area, Hon. Chiemela Iheanacho Wagbara, has announced a special initiative to support Ugwunagbo students by offering free JAMB registration for those wishing to sit for this year’s exams.

Hon. Iheanacho who disclosed the initiative while addressing Newsmen at the Council Headquarters, directed Ugwunagbo indigenes to collect the registration forms from their respective counselors, fill and return them back to their counselors on or before Tuesday, February 18.

According to the Mayor, interested candidates are instructed to bring their completed forms, along with photocopies of their National Identification Number (NIN) and WAEC result printouts, to the Ugwunagbo Council Headquarters for the capturing process on Monday, February 24.

This initiative aligns with Governor Alex Otti’s free education policy and aims to provide all Abia children with equal opportunities to quality education.

It will also recalled that Hon. Chiemela Iheanacho Wagbara had earlier this year, also facilitated free WAEC registration for local indigenes.
