Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, will officially flag-off the construction of the Mbala-Umuaku-Ngodo Road in Umunneochi Local Government Area on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM.
A release endorsed by the State Commissioner for Information, Prince Okey Kanu, says the 11.27km road project, which will be handled by I. A. C Allied Tech and Construction Company Ltd, is a testament to Governor Otti’s unwavering commitment to modernizing Abia’s road network and enhancing the economic potential of rural communities.
According to the release, the flag-off ceremony will take place at the end of the road in Ngodo, marking the commencement of yet another transformative project aimed at improving connectivity, easing transportation, and fostering socio-economic growth in Umunneochi and beyond.
It disclosed that the Abia State Government remains steadfast in delivering quality infrastructure that meets global standards, ensuring that the people of the state enjoy the dividends of democracy under Governor Otti’s administration.
The release therefore invites all stakeholders, Political appointees from the area, community leaders, Party Faithfuls and residents of Umunneochi LGA to witness this historic event.
