Abia State Government under the visionary leadership of Governor Dr. Alex Otti, will tomorrow, Tuesday 11 March 2025, officially flag off the construction of the 11.1km Obehie-Umudobia-Owaza Road in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State.
A release endorsed by the State Commissioner for Information, Prince Okey Kanu says, the state government remains committed to infrastructural transformation across the state.
The release notes that the landmark project reaffirms Governor Otti’s commitment and dedication to equitable development across the three senatorial districts of Abia State, ensuring improved connectivity and economic growth for the people.
It also notes that the road when completed, will boost the operations of the Abia Industrial Innovation Park at Owaza.
According to the release, venue for the flag-off is St. Ann Secondary School, Obehie Asa, Ukwa West LGA while time is One O’clock in the afternoon.
The release therefore invites all stakeholders, political appointees from the area, community leaders, Party faithfuls, and residents of Ukwa West LGA to the historic event.
It also enjoins all to be seated before the arrival of the Governor and his entourage.
