The President and Vice Chancellor of Clifford University Owerrinta, Prof. Chimezie Omeonu has re-affirmed and reassured parents, students and other stakeholders of the institution’s vision of a holistic education rooted in Grace of God and the ministry of the founders.

Professor Omeonu who made the declaration while delivering his speech at the 9th Matriculation Ceremony of the Clifford University held at Ihie Campus in Isiala Ngwa North LGA, noted that the university which took off in 2016 with three faculties and fifteen degree programmes now boasts of six faculties and thirty-two degree programmes including law, all of which are accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the Adventist Accrediting Association.

The Vice Chancellor also announced that approval has been given to the university to begin the process of establishing School of post-graduate studies in Clifford University while paying glowing tribute to a grandson of the state, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke who through his Springtime Development Foundation sponsors over five hundred students on scholarship in the institution amongst other acts of benevolence and achievements.

In a goodwill message to the university administration, staff, students and parents, the Chief Executive Officer of Springtime Development Foundation, Pastor Samuel Oyelabu charged the over four hundred and fifty matriculants to exhibit profound moral and academic conducts that will present them as good ambassadors of their families and the faith-based institution.

In a vote of thanks, the Chairman, Ceremonies and Honours Committee of Clifford university Owerrinta, Dr. Ezebunwa Ubani, thanked the leadership of the institution, the Springtime Foundation and other partners including parents for choosing Clifford to shape the education and character of their wards while urging the fresh students to be focused and work hard to justify the investments of their parents.

Highpoint of the ceremony was the administering of matriculation oath and admission of the students into Clifford University by the Vice Chancellor.
