Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti has condoled the founder and Spiritual Director of The Light of the World Assembly Church, Evangelist Innocent Okamgba over the death of his mother, Mrs Margaret Okamgba.
In his condolence message during a funeral service conducted by The Light of the World Assembly Church, at Umujo Umunna Ichiukwu Community in Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Governor Otti described the death of a loved one especially that of a mother as painful.

The Governor represented by his Chief of Staff, Pastor Caleb Ajagba enjoined all to ensure they continue to maintain cordial relationship with God, pointing out that a day is coming when all shall give account of their stewardship on earth.
In their condolence messages, the Mayor of Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Ambassador Innocent Uruakpa and Bishop Emeka Nwankpa enjoined the bereaved family to be strong and courageous and ensure they continue to uphold the sterling qualities their late mother left behind.
In a homily, the Rev. Ikechukwu Onyeonoro reminded all that they are sojourners on earth hence the need for all to live righteously in order to gain eternal life.
In a tribute, the Chief mourner and first son of the deceased, Evangelist Innocent Okamgba described his late mother as a great lover of God and community leader who dedicated her time to the service of God and humility.
Aged 87, Late Mrs Margaret Okamgba is survived by Children, grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
Our correspondent reports that the funeral which featured prayers for the Okamgba family, condolence messages also attracted the presence of the Mayor of Umuahia South LGA, Mr Chinedu Enwereuzo, the first Deputy Chairman, Abia State Traditional Rulers Council, Eze Nelson Nmerengwa, top government officials among other distinguished personalities.
