The Chief of Staff to Abia State Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba says government will continue to partner communities to ensure adequate protection of life’s and property of the citizens.

Pastor Ajagba who stated this at Government House Umuahia during a meeting with traditional rulers and traditional prime ministers from Owaza in Ukwa West LGA, disclosed that Governor Alex Otti is passionate about providing an atmosphere of peace to enable the state continue to drive meaningful development.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor identified the presence of credible town unions, community and youth associations as key enablers that assist the traditional institutions in maintaining peace, law and order in the rural areas.
He appreciated the people for being at the forefront of championing peace, pointing out that the administration of Governor Alex Otti in the state takes issues of security seriously.
In their speeches, the commissioner for Environment, Mr Philemon Ogbonna, the traditional ruler of Etitioha Ipu Autonomous Community Owaza, Eze Levi Nwaorgu, the traditional prime minister of Ipu West Owaza, Chief Maxwell Nwagbara and his Igiriukwu Ipu Autonomous Community Owaza, Dr Uche Nwele, thanked the state government for its commitment towards ensuring lasting peace and adequate security in Owaza and pledged their support to the present administration in the state.
