The Chief of Staff to Abia State Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba has condoled with the Elefue family of Amawom Oboro in Ikwuano LGA over the death of their son and Permanent Secretary, Government House Umuahia, Mr. Ugochukwu Kingston Elefue.
In his condolence message at the countryhome of the deceased, Pastor Ajagba described the news of the death of Mr Elefue who was full of life as shocking and painful.

The Chief of Staff to the Governor represented by the Director of Administration, Government House Umuahia, Lady Nwomiko Udo-Nwokocha while describing death as a necessary end for all mortals, however regretted that Mr Elefue’s demise can too sudden when his services were needed most.
He disclosed that Late Mr Elefue was a kind hearted man who worked cordially with him for the few months he stayed in Government House as Permanent Secretary and enjoined the bereaved family especially the wife of the deceased, Mrs Glory Elefue to be strong and courageous and assured them of government’s support.
Also speaking, the Chairman, Staff Welfare Scheme, Government House Umuahia, Mrs Bernadette Oluchi-Ubani, described the late Permanent Secretary as a good man and an accommodating boss, also pledged the support of the Staff Welfare Scheme towards the burial.
Responding on behalf of the Elefue family, the younger brother of the deceased, Mr Ifeanyi Elefue thanked the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, Management and Staff of Government House Umuahia for identifying with their family during their moment of grief and assured that he would keep government posted on the burial arrangements.
Late Mr Ugochukwu Kingston-Elefue, who died on the 11th this month, was until his death, the Permanent Secretary of Government House Umuahia.
Our correspondent reports that the visit featured prayers for the bereaved family and signing of the condolence register while the Management of Government House Umuahia accompanied the representative of the Chief of Staff to the Governor on the condolence visit.
