Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti has identified total transformation as panacea to bring about positive changes across the state and nation at large.
Governor Otti who disclosed this at the Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG, Province 15, No 1 Goodshed Avenue, behind Signature Bank regional headquarters Aba, during the 2025 Young Adult and Youth Convention of the church, attributed the challenges militating against the overall development of the nation to lack of transformational leaders.
The Governor represented by his Chief of Staff, Pastor Caleb Ajagba while describing the theme of the convention, “Total Transformation,” as unique considering the fact that one can only manifest purpose after being transformed, reminded christians especially the youths that being a transformed christian is all they need to excel in life, make positive impacts and bring about transformations in their domains.
The State Chief Executive who disclosed that God brought him into office to prove to Abians that positive changes can be achieved in the state, also pointed out that his administration is passionate about the transformation of Abia youths hence institutionalizing a leadership academy to train at least 1,000 Abia youths.
He further disclosed that a lot of platforms like the TechRise, Export Growth Lab, MSME incubation and vocational centres are currently being established to ensure that the citizens especially the youthful population are not only transformed but are also sustainably empowered, and assured Abians of better days ahead.
Preaching on the topic, “Total Transformation”, the state Regional Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Henry Yolo, reminded Christians that those that have experienced the transformational power of God are expected to live righteously and always obey divine directives in order to gain eternal life.
In his address, the RCCG State Pastor in-charge of Young Adult and Youths, Pastor Gabriel Sunday appreciated Governor Alex Otti for all the good works God has been using him to do across the state which according to him has led to total transformation of the state.
The 2025 Young Adult and Youth Convention which featured choral renditions, drama presentations, goodwill messages also attracted the presence of Chief Chimaobi Ebisike, former Member that represented Aba North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Deputy Mayor of Ukwa West LGA, Hon. Joel Nwankwo, Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Development, Comrade Onyebuchi Chukwu among other notable personalities.
