Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has approved the appointment of Dr. Friday Kanu Ohuche as Chief Economic Adviser of the State Government.
A release endorsed by the Secretary to Abia State government, Prof. Kenneth Kalu, says the Governor has also approved the constitution of the Abia State Economic Management Team, with the following members:
- Executive Governor of Abia State (Chairman)
- Commissioner for Finance
- Commissioner for Budget & Planning
- Commissioner for Trade and Commerce
- Commissioner for Industries & SMEs
- Chairman, Abia State Board of Internal Revenue Services
- DG/CEO, Office of Public Private Partnership & Investment Promotion
- Chief Economic Adviser
- Special Adviser, Internally Generated Revenue
- Special Adviser, Budget and Planning
- State Accountant – General
- DG, Ministry of Finance Incorporated
- Principal Secretary & Chief Strategy Officer
- Technical Assistant to the Governor.
