In a letter dated, 25th August, 2023, and addressed to the PDP Chairman of Ukwa West LGA, Dr. Eleogu conveyed his appreciation to the party for the opportunities given to him over the years, the relationships he has built, and the collective efforts toward the growth of Ukwa West Local Government, Abia State, and Nigeria at large.
The letter reads thus;
25TH AUGUST, 2025
The Chairman
People’s Democratic Party (PDP)
Ukwa West Local Government Area
Abia State
Dear Sir,
LETTER OF RESIGNATION FROM THE PEOPLE’S DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP)
The above subject refers.
Obviously, it is with deep respect and a sense of responsibility, I write to formally notify you of my decision to resign my membership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ukwa West Local Government Area Chapter.
This decision was not taken lightly. However, due to increasing work engagements, professional responsibilities, and recent developments within the party, I find it difficult to continue to participate actively as expected of a committed member. I believe it is only fair and honorable to step aside at this point rather than remain in a position where I cannot contribute effectively to the progress of the party.
I sincerely appreciate the opportunities the party has provided me over the years, the relationships I have built, and the collective efforts toward the growth of our local government, Abia State, and Nigeria at large. It is my prayer that the PDP continues to thrive in unity, strength, and purposeful leadership.
Please accept my warm regards, assurances of my highest respect, and best wishes for the party’s future endeavours.
Yours faithfully,
Eleogu Lucky Nkem, Ph.D, DFILMMD, PMP, FCAI,
PDP Senior Stakeholder
IPU West Ward Owaza Ancient Kingdom, Ukwa LGA, Abia State.
