The Chief of Staff to Abia State Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, has felicitated the Founder and General Overseer of Pacesetters Christian Assembly, Bishop Joseph and Pastor Mrs Christiana Ebhohimen, on the occasion of their 40th marriage anniversary celebration.
In his goodwill message at the occasion held at the church auditorium, opposite Harmony Estate, Eliozu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Pastor Ajagba extolled the exemplary union of Bishop and Pastor Mrs Ebhohimen, describing their marriage as a testimony of love, faith and unwavering commitment to God and humanity.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor who doubled as the guest preacher on the occasion, disclosed that the couple’s dedication to building both a strong family and a thriving ministry has inspired many within and beyond the Christian community, also admonished christian couples to model their marriages after Christ, stressing that the foundation of a lasting union lies in mutual respect, prayer and total dependence on God.
Pastor Ajagba further urged young families to also emulate the Ebhohimens’ steadfastness, patience and devotion, which have kept their marriage flourishing for four decades and wished the celebrants more fruitful years of togetherness.
Responding, the celebrants, Bishop Joseph and Pastor Mrs Christiana Ebhohimen, expressed gratitude to God for sustaining their marriage and ministry through the years as well as appreciated family, friends and church members for their love and support and pledged to continue serving God faithfully as they look forward to more years of fruitful companionship.
The event which featured goodwill messages, drama presentation, choral renditions, cutting of cake, couple’s dance and the unveiling of the book, “40 lessons from 40 years of marriage authored by the wife of the celebrant, also attracted the presence of the wife of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Deaconess Arinola Ajagba, Pastor Mrs Dele Bamgboye of Highflyers Christian Centre Port Harcourt, The State Pastor of Living Faith Church Worldwide Port Harcourt River State, Pastor David Popoola and wife, Bishops Victor Uzosike and Norman Jonah and their wives, Pastor Lanre Oluseye of House on the Rock, Port Harcourt, Pastor Kings C. Akuma (Non Executive Director of Abia State Micro Finance Bank) among other distinguished personalities.
