Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti says that the Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene road will be flagged off for reconstruction in the coming Weeks.
Governor Otti who dropped this cheering news while speaking at the September Edition of the Monthly Media engagement of the Governor tagged, “Governor Alex Otti speaks” held at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Umuahia, said that the state government is at final arrangements for the commissioning of the newly reconstructed Port Harcourt road Aba, Ohanku, Ndoki, People’s road among others by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday 3rd October, 2025.
He invited the Aba business community and Abians in general to troop out en masse for the multiple events.
On the Abia Airport project, Governor Otti said that the Abia runway project is progressing unabated as most landowners along the runway have been compensated and directed that those who could not complete documentation conclude the same as to resolve their matters.
On the Enyimba Hotel project, Governor Otti said that the first phase of the project will be delivered next year alongside the Aba leisure park.
