UMUAHIA – The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, says Governor Alex Otti is laying a solid industrial foundation to ensure that Aba fully reclaims its place as a premier industrial and manufacturing hub in Africa.
Pastor Ajagba who stated this when he received the Aba and Umuahia Executives of Mbaise Daughters/Market Women at Government House, Umuahia, noted that the Governor’s reforms are deliberately structured to spark industrial revival, expand economic opportunities and restore the global reputation of the Enyimba City.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor while describing Governor Otti as a focused and intentional leader whose actions are driven by a clear mission to return Aba to its rightful status, emphasized that the Governor remains committed to repositioning Aba through visionary policies and strategic interventions targeted at boosting productivity.
He highlighted the present administration’s heavy investments in critical infrastructure as part of the broader strategy to stimulate economic growth and improve the quality of life for the citizens, adding that the Governor’s agenda is anchored on creating prosperity and building a future where citizens can thrive.
Pastor Ajagba further expressed joy that Abians are alive to witness the sweeping transformation currently taking place across the state and thanked the women for identifying with the present administration, assuring them that government would continue to support initiatives aimed at empowering women, strengthening families and expanding the economic base of communities.
In their remarks, the leader of the delegation, Mrs Florence Ohazurike, Pastor Mrs Nkechi Ogu and Mrs Kate Nwamuo, commended Governor Otti for the remarkable progress recorded within his two years in office as well as applauded his administration’s infrastructural strides, business-friendly policies and efforts to restore confidence in governance.
They further solicited government support in the areas of operational vehicle, office complex and pledged their continued support for the present administration in the state.
The Special Assistant to the Governor on Lands, Pst. Okorougo Aji, his Vulnerable Groups and Poverty Alleviation counterpart, Mrs Ifeoma Thomas and the Special Assistant to the Governor on Industry and SME, Mrs Kanu Uba Chinwe were present during the visit.
