ABIA – The Chief of Staff to Abia State Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, says Governor Alex Otti remains firmly committed to people-oriented governance, transparency and sustainable development across the State.

Pastor Ajagba stated this at his countryhome, Umuezegu Nsulu in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area, while addressing over three hundred indigenes of Nsulu led by Hon. Chamberlain Onyenowe, who officially joined the Abia Arise Structure.

He noted that Governor Otti came into governance with a clear mandate to change the negative narrative of the state and to enthrone a system anchored on accountability, competence and service to the people.

The Chief of Staff to the Governor while describing Governor Otti as a visionary and courageous leader, who is fully committed to rebuilding Abia’s economy, strengthening institutions and restoring public confidence in governance, enjoined the people to remain supportive of the Otti-led administration and to continue to identify with progressive ideals that would move the state forward.

He further commended Hon. Chamberlain Onyenowe for his leadership, courage and decision to align with a movement driven by performance and results, assuring the new members of inclusion, recognition and sustained engagement in the governance process.

In his speech, the Member representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency, Hon. Chief Collins Iheonunekwu, reiterated that Governor Otti has demonstrated uncommon capacity, political will and sincerity of purpose in the management of public resources, adding that the visible transformation across critical sectors of the state is clear evidence that Abia is on the right path.

In their separate remarks while receiving the new members, the Mayor of Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Hon. Ambassador Innocent Uruakpa and the Director General of Abia Arise, Mazi Nkem Okoro, welcomed the Nsulu people into the Abia Arise family, describing their decision as timely and strategic.

They assured them of equal opportunities within the structure and called on them to be ambassadors of the good works of the present administration at the grassroots.

Responding on behalf of the new members, the leader of the delegation, Hon. Chamberlain Onyenowe, said their decision to join the Abia Arise Structure was informed by Governor Alex Otti’s outstanding performance across all sectors of the state economy within two years in office. He added that the Governor’s achievements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, security and civil service reforms have restored hope and confidence among Abians.

Hon. Onyenowe also appreciated the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, for his humility, accessibility and unwavering commitment to grassroots mobilization and assured him of their unalloyed support to the Governor Alex Otti led administration in the State.

The Secretary to Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Hon. Chisom Nwaogbe, State and the LGA executive of Abia Arise witnessed the reception.
