In the spirit of Christmas and Boxing Day, an Abia-born business mogul, Chief Kingsley Amaechi-Offor, has distributed 3,000 bags of rice and cash to orphanage homes, groups, and organisations in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State.

Speaking during visits to the beneficiary homes and at his country home in Umuana, Ndume Ibeku, Chief Offor, who is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kingso Global, said the gesture was in keeping with the spirit of the season and in obedience to biblical injunctions on love and charity.

He noted that the outreach is an annual ritual aimed at identifying with orphanages, groups, and associations, especially during festive periods.

Chief Offor also commended the management of the various orphanage homes for their humanitarian services and prayed God to continue to strengthen and sustain them in their noble work.

He advised individuals and organisations to always identify with the needy in society, assuring that there is immense reward in acts of kindness and goodwill.

The homes and groups visited include Ahiaeke Motherless Home, St. Vincent de Paul, School for the Blind Afara, Available Shoulders Home, churches, Umuada Umuana, Umuana Community, Umuohu Azueke, Omenukoaku Cabinet, Kingso Disciples, Ukejimba Age Grade, and the Ndume Otuka Unity Cup Organising Committee.
