In his homily, the Founder of Marian Missionaries of Ad Regnum Dei(MMR), Archbishop Fortunatus Nwachukwu, emphasised that Christian life, particularly religious vocation, was a call to seek Christ wholeheartedly, abandon the old life and follow Him in total trust.

Archbishop Nwachukwu, who works in the Roman Curia as Secretary of the Dicastery for Evangelization, urged believers to pursue Christ with openness to conversion and renewal, noting that religious life entails offering oneself fully to God through the vows of poverty, obedience and chastity and embracing a transformed way of life.
Archbishop Nwachukwu said that while this calling could be considered humanly difficult, it could be made possible through God’s grace, as illustrated in Christ’s teaching on the rich young man and called for unity, gratitude and service to God and humanity.
