ABIA – The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, has charged newly married couples to build their homes on love, patience, mutual respect and unwavering commitment to God.

Pastor Ajagba, who gave the charge at the St. Thomas Anglican Church, Umuosu Nsulu in Isiala Ngwa North LGA during the solemnization of holy matrimony between his maternal relative, Mr. Chisom Okezie, and his heartthrob, Miss Gift Ogbe, maintained that marriage requires deliberate effort, sacrifice and understanding from both partners to thrive.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor while describing marriage as a sacred institution ordained by God, reminded the couple that marriage is not a bed of roses, warned them against allowing third parties into their union and wished them a fruitful and enduring union.
In a homily, the officiating minister in-charge of St. Thomas Anglican Church Umuosu Nsulu, Venerable Martin Ubani, enjoined the couple to see themselves as one indivisible entity, to love, pray, trust, respect and tolerate each other, as well as shun acts capable of destroying their marriage.
In a vote of thanks on behalf of his wife, the groom, Mr. Chisom Okezie, appreciated God for making their dream come true and thanked the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba and all who came to share in their joy.

The wedding ceremony which featured blessing of the couple, cutting of cake, goodwill messages also attracted the presence of a Labour party chieftain in the state, Dr Obioma Orji, Pharmacist Dr & Dr Mrs Chinedu Ozems and Staff of Government House Umuahia among others.
