The Mayor of Umuahia North Local Government, Abia State, Hon Smart Iheoma (Akuoyi Ohuhu) hereby wishes to inform the general public and Umuahia North in particular that he will not be accepting Awards of any kind at the moment.
The Mayor’s priority is solely focused on his NINE PILLAR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN for Umuahia North and would not want to be distracted from achieving his dream of making Umuahia North the number one Local Government in terms of human and capital development in Abia State and beyond.
However, the Mayor will actively participate and support all community development programmes and activities within Umuahia North as they form part of his economic development plan.
The general public will be informed should this position change in future.
