Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti says Abia is the best place for entrepreneurship investment due to its abundant human and material resources.

Governor Otti who stated this while receiving in audience a delegation of the US Market Access Center, (USMAC) led by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr Chris Burry said the State Government will be pleased to partner the company to harness the potential and human energy existing in Aba, the commercial nerve Centre of the State.

According to the Governor the proposal of the company is in line with the vision of his administration.

The Governor who said that there is huge potential and human energy available in Aba requested the Team to visit Aba to see things for themselves, pointing out that he wants their findings to be evidence based.

The Governor committed the Team to the Commissioner for Science, Technology and Innovation, Mr David Kalu and other members of his team in charge of technology to work with the US Market Access Center (USMAC) and come up with recommendations on how best to collaborate with the Center.

He maintained that the administration is in a hurry to develop the huge potentials in the State for wealth creation and to lift the people from the clutches of poverty.

Earlier in his speech, the leader of the delegation and Chief Executive Officer of US Market Access Center (USMAC), Mr. Chris Burry said Abia is the first State the Team is visiting in Nigeria with its proposal because of the innovations Governor Otti has brought to bare within a short time on the saddle.

He expressed their interest in investing in entrepreneurship development and skills acquisition and other areas of interest.

Our correspondent reports that the Commissioner for Science, Technology and Innovation, Mr David Kalu, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, Technical Assistant to the Governor, Charles Egonye, among others were present at the meeting.
