Over Seventy-three Students from different schools across the State, have benefited from Sir Cyril Ishmael Scholarship Program.

Speaking while handing over the cheque to the beneficiaries for their WAEC and NECO registration, the Sponsor of the Scholarship Program, Sir Cyril Ishmael said that the initiative was part of his commitment to support the education needs of the students and ensure that every student have access to quality education regardless of their financial background.

According to Sir Ishmael, the Scholarship Program was a demonstration of his late father’s believe in the transformative power of education and harnessing the potentials of the younger generations, hence the establishment of Ishmael Ahukanna Foundation Scholarship Program.

Speaking while giving the breakdown of the free WAEC and NECO registration program for the Students, the Chairman of the Selection Committee, Sir Kingsley Ishmael, said the selection process was based on merit and commended Sir Cyril Ishmael for his love to the education needs of the students.

Responding, some of the beneficiaries including, Emeka Favour of Divine Light Secondary School, Obikabia, Ebere Blessings of Agbaragwu Community Secondary School and Dennis Ugochinyere of Flame International Secondary School, Aba thanked Sir Cyril Ishmael for his benevolence to them adding that the gesture will further help them pursue their dreams as well as make positive impact in the society and prayed God to bless him.
