The Wife of Abia state Governor, Mrs. Priscilla Otti has donated Bags of Rice, Toiletries and Food Items, including cash of One Million Naira to four Charitable Homes in Umuahia and One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira for the Care-Givers of each Home.

Mrs. Otti, while distributing the items to the Ahiaeke Motherless Babies Home, Agape Charity Home Avodim, Ipupe-Amuba ubakala, So-Said Charity Homes for Vulnerable Persons, Amibo Ubakala and St Vincent De Paul, Centre for Mentally and Physically Challenged Persons, Umuafai Ndume Ibeku, during her Charity Outreach, lauded the Coordinators and Caregivers of the Homes for their selfless Humanitarian services to the vulnerable, especially, the children at the homes and prayed God to strengthen them.
The Wife of the Governor represented by the Wife of the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Adaeze Emetu, restated the present administration’s commitment to prioritizing the welfare of the vulnerable ones in the State, especially the Destitute Homes, and reassured them of Governor’s continued support to Charitable Homes in Abia state.
In her speech, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Poverty Alleviation and Vulnerable Group, Mrs. Ifeoma Thomas, thanked the wife of the Governor, Mrs. Priscilla Otti for the initiative and appreciated, the Coordinators and the Caregivers, for the selfless services.
Also speaking, the Co ordinator, Ahiaeke Motherless Babies Home, Rev Sister Maria Anita Ogbonna and Agape Charity Home, Madam Oyibo Okonkwo thanked the administration of Governor Alex Otti and his Wife, Mrs. Priscilla for giving the much needed attention to Destitute Homes in the State and prayed God to grant them more wisdom to pilot the affairs of the state effectively.
In their contributions, the Coordinators of St. Vincent De Paul Physical and Mentally Persons, Rev Sister Jetrude Ukanwoko and So–Said Charity Home, Concern, Felicia Martins also thanked the Wife of the Governor for her motherly care, and prayed God to bless her, for prioritizing the welfare of Charity Homes in the State.
In their remarks, the Royal Father, Eze Friday Obioma represented by Chief Marshal Nwogu and one of the destitutes, Chigoziem Onuoha appreciated Mrs Otti for her kind hearted activities in the state especially her concerns towards the vulnerable in the state and prayed God to bless her.
