UMUAHIA – Christians have been charged to depend on God to attain greater heights in life.
A retired Permanent Secretary in the state, Apostle Okpei Arum Okpei gave the charge in thanksgiving at the Provincial Headquarters of Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim, Eze Ogbulafor Street Umuahia.

The service provided Apostle Okpei and his family the opportunity to return thanks to God after his meritorious retirement from the Abia state civil service as a permanent secretary.
Apostle Okpei said he remains grateful to God for attaining the height of permanent secretary and retiring in good health, even as he cited his humble beginning.
The celebrant, who was the immediate past Provincial Chairman of the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Umuahia province, urged Christians to continue doing the will of God, assuring that God does not disappoint those who trust in him.
He used the event to thank the immediate past Governor of the state, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu and former Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Okochukwu for finding him worthy of being appointed permanent secretary, even as he thanked Governor Alex Otti.
Earlier in a sermon titled, the Mercy that Triumph Judgmentment, Apostle Chikezie Mbagwu reminded Christians that the mercy of God would speak over man’s judgment in their lives.
He stressed the need for Christians to avoid acts that are inimical to God’s standard.
