A cross section of Abians have bared their minds on the new Tariff increase approved for Telecommunication Companies in the Country.
Baring their minds on the development, some residents of Umuahia including Mr. Kennedy Nnaomah, Isaac Miracle, Anthony Onyenwere, and Chinedu Nwoke, said there is no rationale in the recently approved fifty percent increase by the Nigerian Communication Commission on Tariff increase.
According to them, Telecommunication Companies should improve their services to the people before considering any Tariff increase.
They noted that the services rendered to the people by the Telecommunication Companies are very poor and do not justify what the people are paying for.
The residents pointed out that Government should have also considered the hardship people are going through in the country currently, adding that the tariff increase will worsen the situation.
