The Traditional Ruler of Okon-Aku and his Cabinet, Eze Ogo in Council and leaders of Okon-Aku Autonomous Community, Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State, have dissociated itself from the alleged malicious Social media publication against the Deputy Governor of Abia State, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu by one Mr. Igwe Akuma Akwu.
A release signed by the President of Okon-Aku Development Union, Omaka Okorie Kama, describes the said media publication as unfounded, false and misleading.
According to the release, Mr. Akuma does not speak for or represent the people of Okon-Aku Ohafia, while the matter has been reported to Law Enforcement Agencies for appropriate action.
The release assures the Governor, Dr Alex Otti and the Deputy, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu of their unalloyed support and co-operation.
