Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti has congratulated the State Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria CAN and his wife, Rev. and Mrs Ojo Ojo Uduma on the occasion of their thirty years priesthood and twenty-five years marriage anniversary.

Speaking at the Evangelical Church Winning All ECWA, No 1 Calabar Street, Opposite Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic Aba, Governor Otti commended the celebrants for sticking to their divine call in the vineyard of God and allowing God to use them as instruments to reshape the destinies of christians.

The Governor represented by his Chief of Staff, Pastor Caleb Ajagba attributed the successes recorded by his administration in all facets of the state economy to the support and prayers of churches, adding that his administration is making huge sacrifices for the overall good and development of the state.

The State Chief Executive further lauded Rev Ojo Ojo Uduma and his wife for their passion for knowledge and spiritual growth which has not only set them apart but made them a beacon of excellence among their peers, also wished them more of God’s blessings.

In a homily, the Rev Dr Monday Agouwa, called on all to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice and thanksgiving in order to unlock multiple doors of blessings.

In his testimony, the celebrant and state chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, Rev. Ojo Ojo Uduma while recounting his missionary journey, described his personal life as a testament to God’s faithfulness and the transformative power of faith, dedication and divine calling.

Rev. Uduma explained that his priesthood service is marked by relentless dedication to church planting and pastoral leadership, and appreciated Governor Alex Otti, the church, CAN and all that came to celebrate with his family.

Our correspondent reports that the ceremony which featured renewal of marital vows, prayer for the celebrants, cutting of anniversary cake, choral renditions, attracted the presence of the Special Assistant to the Governor on Religious Affairs, Apostle Kenneth Wiper, the Anglican Archbishop of Aba Ecclesiastical Province and Bishop of Isiala Ngwa South, His Grace, The Most Rev. Isaac Nwobia, the clergy, top government officials among other distinguished personalities.
