The National Chairman of Forum of Former Deputy Governors of Nigeria and the erstwhile Deputy Governor of Abia State, Dr. Chris Akomas has received the sad news of the demise of the immediate past President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR at a London hospital.
His Excellency notes that the departed former President would for long be remembered for his indelible records of service, his altruism, patriotism and strict sense of duty to our country and her people.
He further described the Late Ahj. Muhammadu Buhari as a principled, disciplined and patriotic Nigerian, who had integrity and did his best, to the service of the country, putting in many years of his life to it, while insisting that it takes courage, sacrifice and service to achieve all that he achieved in his lifetime
Dr. Akomas sends his condolences to the immediate family of the deceased former President, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the federal government of Nigeria.
On behalf of the Forum of Former Deputy Governors of Nigeria, FFDGN, himself and his family, Dr. Akomas urges the Mohammadu Buhari’s family and loved ones to bear his demise with fortitude, as he prays that God grants his soul eternal repose.
