The Acting Director General of the Broadcasting Corporation of Abia State, BCA, Mr. Francis Nwaubani has commended members of Uzuakoli Methodist College Old Boys Association Umuahia branch for bringing back the prestige of the College.
Mr. Nwaubani who made the commendation when members of the association paid him a courtesy visit in his office, appreciated the Governor, Dr Alex Otti for the caliber of people from the Methodist College Uzuakoli he appointed in his administration and assured him of the BCA support in their upcoming programme.
He used the forum to thank the Governor, Dr. Otti for the numerous work he is doing in the State including the renovation of BCA administration block, approving equipment for BCA transmitter and assured him of the Corporation’s support.
Earlier in his speech, the President, Uzuakoli Methodist College Old Boys Association, Umuahia branch, Comrade Hope Ekwuruibe while thanking the Acting Director General for his warm reception, pointed out that with his appointment, BCA has moved to another level of development and informed him of their National Executive Council meeting coming up tomorrow at Bishop Nwaedo Pastoral Conference Centre.
Comrade Ekwuruibe also lauded the Governor and appreciated him for attending their centenary event and assured him of their continued support.
The courtesy call attracted the presence of the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Information, Sir Chris Onwuegbu and BCA Management.
