The Chief of Staff to Abia State Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, has commended the leadership of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide for its consistency in promoting unity, cultural identity and the collective advancement of the Igbo nation.
Pastor Ajagba who gave the commendation during the inauguration of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Isiala Ngwa North Chapter, held at Ovu Ndi Eze, Isiala Ngwa North LGA Council Headquarters, described the body as a vital pillar in preserving the collective heritage and socio-political consciousness of the Igbo people.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor while noting that the establishment of the chapter represents a significant milestone in deepening Ohaneze’s grassroots presence and strengthening the voice of Ndi Igbo in the State, also reaffirmed Governor Alex Otti’s commitment to continue supporting the organization in fostering peace, inclusivity and the overall development of the State.
He further congratulated the newly inaugurated President of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Isiala Ngwa North Chapter, Sir Inyama Ibendiogwu and his executives, and charged them to uphold the noble ideals of Ohaneze, ensure that their chapter becomes a model of unity, transparency and service to the people while expressing optimism that the chapter would play a strategic role in complementing the state government’s efforts towards peace, youth empowerment and cultural renaissance in the area.
In his address, the President General, Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Senator John Azuta-Mbata, represented by the State President of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Dr. C.C. Okwuonu, emphasized that under his leadership, Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide has focused on restoring confidence in Igbo leadership, encouraging youth participation and building bridges of cooperation among communities, adding that the event marks another step in Ohaneze’s mission to reach every community and unite Ndigbo under one strong umbrella of peace, progress and shared values.
He further charged the newly inaugurated chapter executive to serve with sincerity, transparency and total commitment to the ideals of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide and appreciated Governor Otti for his unflinching support to the organization.
In his inaugural speech, the newly inaugurated President of the Isiala Ngwa North Chapter, Sir Inyama Ibendiogwu, expressed profound appreciation to Governor Otti, the National and State leadership of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide and Isiala Ngwa North people for their trust and encouragement and pledged that his administration would prioritize unity, inclusivity and effective representation of the chapter at all levels of Ohaneze activities.
The inauguration which featured administration of oath of office on the new Executive, attracted the presence of the Mayor of Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Ambassador Innocent Uruakpa, traditional rulers, the Leader and members of Isiala Ngwa North legislative council among other distinguished personalities.
