
ABIA – The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, has reassured Abians of Governor Alex Otti’s commitment to delivering purposeful governance and sustainable development across the state.
Pastor Ajagba who gave the assurance at his Umuezegu Nsulu countryhome in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area during an enlarged Nsulu stakeholders’ meeting, maintained that the present administration remains focused on rebuilding critical infrastructures, strengthening institutions and improving the welfare of the people through people-oriented policies and programmes.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor noted that Governor Otti is laying a solid foundation for a prosperous and economically viable State, emphasizing that the administration is determined to restore public confidence in governance through transparency, accountability and prudent management of resources and called on stakeholders in Nsulu and across the state to continue to support the government in its efforts to reposition Abia for greater development.
Pastor Ajagba further urged the people to take advantage of the ongoing Labour Party e-registration and register, obtain their permanent voter cards in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration exercise across the state to enable them participate actively in the democratic process while cautioning them against being distracted by the antics of political detractors who have nothing meaningful to offer the citizens.
In his speech, the President General of Agburuke Nsulu, Dr Jesse Oduh commended the state government for the visible strides being recorded in different sectors of the state’s economy, noting that the developmental initiatives of Governor Otti have begun to restore hope and confidence among the people, especially in rural communities that had long yearned for government presence.
In their speeches, some of the stakeholders including Mr Fidel Ibeabuchi, Sir Obinna Ijeri, Chief Friday Onukwue, Mr Chamberlain Onyenonwe and Mr Uchenna Nwambuko, commended Governor Alex Otti for his visionary leadership and commitment to transforming the State, as well as appreciated Pastor Caleb Ajagba, for his inclusive leadership style and continued engagement with the grassroots.
They further urged community leaders and stakeholders in Nsulu land to remain united and to continue to work collectively for the progress of Nsulu and the State at large and promised to mobilize their communities not only to key into the programmes and policies of the present government, but also for the re-election bid of Governor Otti in 2027.
The Stakeholders drawn from all the communities of Nsulu nation, praised Governor Otti for his visible developments in Nsulu and called on him to help restore electricity in Umunna Nsulu and it’s environs.
