The list of successful qualified candidates for 2025 Teacher Recruitment Exercise in Abia State has been released online.
A release signed by the Recruitment Committee for the state Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Elder Goodluck Ubochi, directs the candidates who applied to check their SMS or email notifications, using their phone number and email address provided during registration or log in into the recruitment portalwww.mobse.abiastate.com to verify their status.
According to the release, Applicants with NCE Qualification will be posted to Primary Schools where they will be tested in English Studies, Mathematics and General Studies, while Candidates with Degree Qualification will be posted to Junior and Senior Secondary Schools where they will be tested in English Studies, Mathematics, their selected areas of specialization and on selective subject.
The release notes that the Computer Based Test CBT exams will hold on the 6th and 7th of March, 2025, while the shortlisted candidates must print their exam photo-cards, forty-eight hours before the exam date which will indicate the designated CBT Centre batch and exam date.
It states that cut off marks will be set based on performance of the candidates, while those who exceed the threshold will proceed for an oral interview. Successful Candidates from the oral interview stage, will move to the certificate verification process.
The release further states that candidates with consistent records will be disqualified at the verification stage and replaced by the next best ranked candidate.
