ABIA – The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Abia State, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, has commended Governor Alex Otti for his unwavering commitment to transforming the education sector through strategic investments in modern learning infrastructure across the state.
Pastor Ajagba who gave the commendation during the commissioning of the newly constructed Umuomaiukwu Smart School in Nsulu, Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area, described the facility as a landmark project that reflects Governor Otti’s vision of providing every Abia child with access to world-class education.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor while describing the Smart School as a state-of-the-art learning centre equipped with modern digital facilities designed to prepare pupils for the demands of the 21st-century global economy, noted that the project is a clear demonstration of the Governor’s determination to bridge the educational gap between urban and rural communities by ensuring that children, irrespective of their location, have access to quality and technology-driven education.
He noted that the present administration in Abia State, under the visionary leadership of Governor Alex Otti, has performed exceptionally well across critical sectors, including education, healthcare, road infrastructure, security and economic development, adding that the numerous achievements recorded within a short period have continued to earn the confidence and admiration of Abians both at home and in the diaspora.
Pastor Ajagba maintained that Governor Otti’s administration remains focused on building a prosperous and inclusive Abia where human capital development takes centre stage, adding that the Smart School initiative is a long-term investment that will produce future leaders, innovators and globally competitive professionals capable of driving the state’s development.
He further assured the Governor of the continued support, loyalty and cooperation of the people of Umuomaiukwu and the entire Nsulu community towards the success of his administration and urged residents to take collective ownership of the Smart School by protecting the facilities against vandalism and ensuring that the environment is kept safe and conducive for learning.
