Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti has urged his former colleagues in the Banking Industry to explore areas of collaboration with the state Government.
Governor Otti who stated this when he received a delegation of the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, First Bank Nigeria, Mr. Olusegun Alebiosu in his country home, Nvosi, Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area, restated his administration’s readiness to partner the Private Sector in Projects of mutual benefits.
The Governor who was elated to welcome his former colleagues in the Banking Industry, assured them of his willingness to work with them.
In his remarks, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, First Bank Nigeria, Mr. Olusegun Alebiosu, described Governor Otti as a mentor who is always willing to share his wealth of knowledge and skills with those that grew under him during his banking years.
He expressed excitement at the level of transformation and development in Umuahia the state capital adding that he would also lead his team to Aba, the economic hub center to see for themselves the level of Infrastructural turn around as being reported in various media Platforms across the country.
Mr. Alebiosu thanked Governor Alex Otti for being a good Ambassador of the Banking Industry and assured of the willingness of his bank to partner the state and be part of the state’s success story.
Our correspondent reports that the team later went into a closed door meeting with the Governor.
