It was an atmosphere of joy and celebration as family, friends and associates gathered at Amako Nsirimo in Umuahia South LGA to witness the traditional marriage ceremony between Miss Ruth Agomoh and Benue State born popular gospel singer, Steve Crown.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Governor, Dr Alex Otti described marriage as the oldest institution instituted by God for the sole purpose of companionship, support and procreation.

The Governor represented by his Chief of Staff, Pastor Caleb Ajagba reminded the couple that marriage is God’s own ordained institution that must be approached with every sense of responsibility, devotion, patience and love.
The State Chief Executive reminded the couple that marriage is not a bed of roses, hence the need for them to avoid third parties who may want to derail their affection for each other. He admonished them to avoid comparison with others because God’s assignment for them in this union is different and to make God the bedrock of their marriage in order to succeed.
The State Chief Executive further reminded the bridegroom that he is blessed to have chosen his bride from God’s own state where things are being transformed supernaturally and congratulated the couple and wished them a fruitful union.
Responding on behalf of his wife, the Benue State born popular gospel singer, Steve Crown appreciated God for his goodness and mercies and for making their dreams come through.
He also thanked Governor Alex Otti, his family, inlaws and all that came to celebrate their special day with them and promised to continue to love, adore and cherish his bride whom he described as God’s sent.
