The Igbo People in Diaspora IPID have felicitated with the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, and the entire people of Abia on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the creation of the state.
In a release endorsed by the global visionary leaders, the group described the day as a moment of reflection and gratitude to God for His mercies upon Abia and a celebration of the resilience and resourcefulness of her people over the years.
They applauded Governor Otti for his transformative strides in repositioning Abia on the path of recovery, growth, and sustainable development, noting that within a short period in office, the Governor has demonstrated visionary leadership, transparency, and commitment to the welfare of citizens, which has rekindled hope in the Abia project both at home and in the diaspora.
IPID further prayed for God’s continued strength, wisdom, and protection upon Governor Otti as he pilots the affairs of the state, while expressing optimism that with his people-focused leadership, Abia will continue to attain greater heights and become a shining example of good governance in Nigeria.
