ABIA – Governor Alex Otti, says the transformation being witnessed across the state within his two years in office is a clear reflection of God’s plan and purpose for the state.

Governor Otti, who stated this at Government House Umuahia when he received the National and State Executive of Church of Christ Ministers, noted that the remarkable progress recorded so far is not just the product of strategic planning and disciplined governance, but also the result of the sustained prayers and intercessions of the church community.
The Governor represented by his Chief of Staff, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, disclosed that his administration remains committed to building a state where both government and the church can thrive in their shared responsibility of nurturing moral values, strengthening communities and ensuring a better quality of life for citizens.
The State Chief Executive while describing the Church of Christ in Nigeria as a household name known for its unwavering commitment to spreading the gospel of Christ and raising a generation grounded in righteousness, assured that his administration will continue to support and provide an enabling environment for the church to carry out its spiritual and social responsibilities.
In his speech, the National President, Church of Christ Ministers, Minister Oji O. Oji, while describing the Governor Alex Otti administration as a model of good governance in the nation, also expressed joy over the remarkable transformation across the state, especially in the areas of infrastructural development, improved power supply, improved standard of education, quality healthcare delivery and security.
He also lauded the Governor for his merit-based recruitment and appointment policy and appealed for the state government’s support in allocating land for their conference facility and an evangelism bus for missionary outreach.
The visit which featured prayers for Governor Alex Otti and the state, also attracted the presence of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Budget and Planning, Dr Eric Egwuibe, among other top government officials.
